About Us
Helping Paws Mountain View Rescue is a non-profit 501(c) (3) incorporated rescue.

We work diligently in saving lives through spaying, neutering, vaccinating and finding that perfect match for our precious little creatures. We work closely with our little orphans to learn their needs and what situation would be best for them. We have successfully placed over 500 dogs in good, "Forever Homes".   Totally funded through our adoptions, an adoption fee is requested at time of adoption to cover spay, neutering, and medical expenses previously administered to each dog. If you are interested in providing love and companionship in a "Forever Home" for one of our precious orphans, please contact us by any means listed on our contact information page. Adoption and contract forms must be completed prior to adoption. You may email us to request an Adoption Application. An agreement to visit our orphans' future home may be requested and must be granted. Compliance of this contract must be adhered to for transaction completion. We work diligently in finding the right placement for each of our orphans. We observe our orphans as individuals and seek the home enviroment needed for each one of our guys. "Everybody's born so they can learn to live a good life and love others, Animals already know to do that, so they don't need to stay as long."

Rescue Location
We are located in Greene County Tennessee - at the foothills of the Cherokee National Forest which borders North Carolina. The beautiful Nolichuckey River flows alongside our shelter adding to the serene country atmosphere where they are sheltered and cared for until their "Forever Family" arrives to take them home. We have a variety to choose from that have had social interaction with people and fellow orphaned canines who are all given an over-abundance of love and attention.
 Foster Families
In addition to the main rescue location, we have foster families that house some of our rescues, dogs and cats alike, in their homes until the right family comes along.  Our foster families socialize the animals to different situations, providing them with love and the feeling of being wanted until their "Forever Family" take them to their "Forever Homes".

"We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals."
